Senior Sales Manager Job (Tourism, Travel, Hospitality) (Bali), Indonesia

Responsibilities


Minimum Bachelor’s degree
Five years or more of successful previous experience in similar job, preferably in the travel and hospitality branch where you have demonstrated your abilities to grow and develop business
Demonstrated strong abilities to sell and you love to get business done
Passion for human contact and for reaching out to clients
Understanding the value of short term goals but you also strongly value long term growth
Capacity to operate in a small company structure with limited help desk support available
Operate independently and strive to solve issues creatively
Strong planning skills and you have the ability to organize and create a suitable infrastructure for your Sales department
Experience to manage people, and you can operate successfully in a multicultural environment
You are respectful of others and a team player. You love to share ideas and value the opinions of others
You have very strong work ethics. Yours and the firm’s image and reputation are your strongest assets
You value honesty, transparency and control
You like cruising, traveling, maritime nature and Indonesia as a destination in general
Your English and Indonesian language skills are excellent
Create and implement short-term (yearly) sales plans and a longer term sales plan including budgets and targets, review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
Manage and train the reservation department and make sure that each and every incoming message from every possible channel is handled with correctly, that the after sales service is handled smoothly and adequately
Create an inventory availability system for “available product”, recognizing products that need prioritizing, establish sales goals and sales tracking, report results to management on regular intervals
Recognize and set up systems and tools for reservations to handle incoming traffic more efficiently, standard replies etc., making accurate decisions, rapid cost calculations and providing guests with quotations
Create systems and control that all after sales information will get transferred to the responsible operational parties and be available to clients at all times
Be in charge of our client’s database and software systems and build on it. Create reselling strategies for our returning guests, agents and other stakeholders or potential prospects and possible client groups to focus on, make sure that they are teased on a regular basis. Make sure that each and every contact is logged correctly for possible future campaigns
Manage and deal with our resellers and agent database, have regular contact with them and review their performance and assist them in any way possible to stimulate more sales and make sure the relationship is as good as can be at all times
Review and build on or current contracts with resellers and analyse them together to see whether future updates are necessary, create new proposal documents if needed
Create and build on materials for social media and digital campaigns like blogs, status updates lead generating campaigns that can be used within our database system to tease guests
Deal with all out of the ordinary requests and opportunities that come in through our current channels and convert them to possible sales
Act as a represent for the company with client and agent contacts and on possible functions and tradeshow
